We get it, you are putting time, effort and hard earned cash into your order, you might have some questions you need answered before you click "buy". Here's some of our most common queries:
Where are you located?
We are an Adelaide-based catering and gift delivery service, specialising in gourmet sweet and savoury gift boxes. At the moment we are a delivery-only service.
Do you deliver on Sundays?
Each box is lovingly put together and then hand-delivered by us, to your (or your recipients') door, 365 days a year - unless we are booked out for that day, which happens occasionally.
How much notice do you need?
Our Next Day Delivery closes at 3pm the day before. You are welcome to order as far in advance for the future as you'd like.
What is the cost of delivery?
Delivery within an hour of Adelaide CBD is a flat rate of $20, this covers all the way north to Elizabeth, all along the coast down to Sellicks Beach and through the Adelaide Hills.
Can you deliver to the Fleurieu or Barossa regions?
Yes! These areas are outside of our normal delivery area, and require you to purchase the Delivery Surcharge when checking out. This extra $20 covers the additional fuel and time it takes to go that bit further. This covers any location up to 1.5 hours from Adelaide CBD.
How will I know when my delivery has been made?
You will receive an email stating that your order has been fulfilled, and we will send a text and photo to the number you provide during checkout. If no mobile number is provided, you will just receive the fulfilment email.
What happens if the recipient isn't home?
We will always try our best to deliver to a person (rather than leaving on the door step). If no one is home after a few attempts of knocking or the door bell, we will call the number provided during checkout, to see how to proceed. If we are unable to contact you, we will attempt to leave the Little Box in a safe place, in the shade at the delivery address, and then send a text to the number provided letting you know its been left. If it is extreme weather (too hot) or there is no where to leave the delivery safely, we will take it with us and you will need to arrange an alternate delivery.
Do you deliver to Hospitals, Hotels, Apartments and Businesses?
We are happy to deliver your Little Box Co order to any hospital or hotel. Depending on the hospital policy the Little Box will either be delivered to the ward, or left at reception to be collected by staff.
Hotel deliveries are usually met by the recipient in the lobby or can be left at the reception desk.
We can deliver to any home or business address in our delivery area. Apartments are paged on the intercom and usually met in the lobby.
What are the sizes of your Little Boxes?
Our Boxes come in a range of sizes, and generally are as follows:
Small - square box 22cm x 22cm
Regular - rectangular box 35cm x 25cm
Large - large rectangular box 43cm x 31cm
Ultimate - extra large rectangular box 55cm x 25cm
Some of our specialty boxes may be listed with different sizes.
Can you do gluten free / vegan / allergy friendly boxes?
Yes! We love making our boxes extra special for those with special dietary requirements.
Can you do custom boxes?
Absolutely. If you have something specific in mind please let us know and we can work together to create your dream Little Box!
Can you post your Little Boxes interstate?
We are currently working on a range of post-friendly Little Boxes. We have previously posted wine and custom boxes interstate with shelf-stable ingredients with good feedback from the recipients. How do I store my Little Box Co delivery?
Please keep your Little Box Co order refrigerated until time of consumption. If left at room temperature for more than 2 hours, its recommended you discard the remainder of the contents (especially grazing boxes with cheeses, meats etc). We recommend the Little Box is consumed within 12 hours of receiving.
Can I send wine?
In accordance with South Australian legislation we are able to include wine with the purchase of a gift. If we don't offer a specific wine, or alcoholic beverage you'd like to send, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are usually able to source special requests, and can add this to your purchase.
Do you send balloons or flowers?
We have a selection of flowers, balloons and other extras to choose from in our Wine and Extras collection.
